When you gotta go you gotta go!
So, if you aren’t a driver, this post may seem a little strange to you. But for those of us who are drivers, we know one of the most important keys to working with Uber/Lyft is knowing where and when to go to the bathroom (especially if you drive at night). In fact, the top 3 most important things I tell new drivers to be aware of is as follows:
1) Plan for the bathroom – It gets real out here in these streets. The worst feeling you will experience is when you have to go BAD and everything is closed.
2) Make sure to eat – It’s hard to drive on an empty stomach. It’s even harder to drive with the bubble guts so make sure to eat something that agrees with your stomach. You don’t want to be in the middle of a ride with a customer and ripping nauseating gas, causing you and your passenger great distress.
3) Plan breaks accordingly – It’s VERY easy to drive 8 hours and look at your payout and see $20. How could you only have $20? Well you talked to your best friend for an hour. Then you decided to go grocery shopping because you drove past a Walmart blah blah blah.

This is my go to spot when I am downtown. Mainly because I don’t know of many places to go to the bathroom downtown. I will be honest. This bathroom isn’t kept in the best condition. It really depends on the day. Just pray and go for it lbs.

Listen, I would only recommend going here in an emergency. They almost never have any tissue, the toilet is too small, and I feel like something might run across my foot or fall from the ceiling at any time. Fellas if you have to do #1, then go for it. Ladies… ummm good luck? Sorry!

This is another pretty popular spot, but not as popular as the Mobil on Halsted & Division. If you are quick, you may be able to have an uninterrupted experience.

This gas station is kept in the best condition out of the other ones I have listed. I love coming here. The attendant is always friendly, and I have never been interrupted. If you are in the area, don’t hesitate to stop here!
